To make things clear every lease has a status.
There a few automatic statuses, it's also possible to add custom ones.
Prebooked: There's a contract start date set for the future. This lease has been prebooked.
Outstanding: The tenant owes the owner money. This lease is outstanding.
If the invoice is postponed to a later date then the tenancy will only come up as outstanding once that date has arrived.
Terminated outstanding: The tenancy Charge Rent Until date has passed but the tenant still owes money to the owner or until the deposit is settled the lease will show up under this status.
Terminated: The tenancy was terminated. The tenant owes the owner no money and no deposit is being held.
