This is how to create a default header and footer that you can reuse in all letter templates.
- From the main ribbon go to Control Panel.
- Click on Letter Management.
- On the window ribbon click Set Default Sections.
- Open either a Word or a JPG document with your company branding in the header and footer.
- Make sure that the logo and company details etc. are all within the document header or footer. If they are not click on Ctrl A and Ctrl C to copy all the content, and paste it in the header section.
- Place your mouse somewhere in the middle of the page. Don't click into the header or footer section.
- With a JPG full image, you might need to sometimes click into the header.
- Click Ctrl + A to select all.
- Click Ctrl + C to copy.
- Go back to the default section in SleekTech.
- Go right to the top and click into the header. (You can test this by putting in some random numbers and then going away from the header. These numbers should appear faint.)
- Click Ctrl + A to select all.
- Click Ctrl + V to paste.
- The header and footer should appear faint, as part of the background.
- When you create a new letter template, this layout will be prefilled by default.
- You can also open any existing letter template and click Insert default layout under the Attached document section. This will replace the existing header and footer with your company default.
